I was also able to continue my therapy, cause before the ketamine therapy i had no energy to do any therapy. But all in all i felt completely different and my closest family and friends saw a huge difference in me! They said that i was ”my normal self again”. The only minus is that the effect last only for a maybe few weeks per session. I got mine by iv in a hospital and i was monitored the whole time. It’s deffinetly a super push for your system and a dopamine rush and you just feel good when you get the treatment. I got accepted to the ketamine therapy and i went like once a week for maybe 15 times and then you have to keep at least half a year pause cause it can can be too addictive. Then my doctor told me about ketamine therapy and in here they use it kind of like an extreme push from the super low point. At some point my depression was just so bad, i was completely numb, i just slept all the time and didn’t see any hope at all. Yeah sure □ i live in finland so the ketamine therapy process might be a bit different here than for example in us, so keep that in mind! I’ve been struggling with depression and ptsd for almost half of my life and i’ve tried so many different medications and even electric shock therapy before. Tipped well, too, which makes him an effing unicorn. Touring is a grind and a lot of comedians are grumpy at best or assholes more often, but he was an absolute delight. Let him try out some of his stuff, gave him some pointers on stage presence, just a really nice guy. In the green room, he was being really really generous to the opening act - a local guy starting out. And after riding the East/West divide for a while, he reunited us all with a bit about Northern Idaho. And he did hilarious bits about random towns here that none of the other acts could have done. So it was an extra cool show because even though he wasn’t playing his hometown, both times he went on he went HARD for jokes about Spokane and Seattle that aren’t in his regular set. And we’re apparently mortal enemies with the west side of the state (I moved here a few years ago, not a local). Yeah, I live north of Spokane, WA, and he actually knows the area out here from family car trips.
